UEFA launches investigation on Emre Beleözoglu for racist slur against Zokora

Fenerbahce’ s ill tempered player Emre Belezoglu is subject of an UEFA investigation, launched on the midfielder for his racist slur against Trabzonspor’s Didier Zokora at yesterday’s playoff game in Istanbul.

Istanbul / NationalTurk – Emre Belezoglu who already had been charged for racial abuse on football pitch vs black players during his stint with Newcastle United in 2007, faces dire consequences this time for his racist slur against Trabzonspor’s Didier Zokora.

Uefa has announced with an official statement that the governing body of European football has started an investigation on Emre Belözoglu for his racist slur vs Ivory Coast international at Fenerbahce Trabzonspor Turkish Super League Playoff game played in Istanbul this sunday.

Emre is being slammed heavily for his racist slur and racial abuse, he admitted to have used, in Turkey, many pundits state he should retire from football.
