The United States will build the largest embassy in Baghdad, US ambassador to Iraq said on Sunday.
“We plan on having, with the approval of Iraqi authorities, the largest US embassy in the world in this country,” James Jeffrey told a press conference in Kirkuk.
Jeffrey was in the oil-rich northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk to have talks with representatives of the ethnic groups of the city.
