The 13th anniversary of Hugo Chavez”s first presidential election victory will be celebrated on Tuesday at the capital’s Teresa Carreño theater, the most important of the country.
The celebration was organized by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), the political organization headed by Chavez that represents the vanguard force of thousands of Venezuelans that back the transformation project that began 13 years ago.
The celebration will be used to assess the work carried out by the PSUV.
Venezuela will also assess the running of the Housing Mission, which began in April, aimed at building over two million houses in seven years.
Last week, that program announced that apartment number 100,000, completely furnished and ready for habitation, was handed over, while President Chavez announced the commitment of solving the country’s housing problem by 2019 so that all Venezuelans have their own home.
