Soccer or what our European friends call football can always give a huge surprise. It is the worlds most watched sport so you can be damned if you think a major controversy, injury, mistake, win or loss is not going to make headline news.

So it was no surprise to see major TV channels around the world, newspapers, websites and video sharing websites showing Kansas City Wizards Striker Kei Kamara missing a goal which is what commentators call “harder to miss then score” OK well, impossible to miss.

What Kamara achieved was really special and shocking when looking at a soccer players perspective professional or amateur.

I can imagine soccer fans all over the world looking at the video and saying “What the ….!!!!”.

What added to insult was that the game between Kansas City Wizards Vs Los Angeles Galaxy ended in a 0-0 draw.

Even Galaxy defender Gregg Berhalter said “It was one of the most unbelievable things I’ve seen in soccer.”
