
At least five Afghan policemen have been injured in a suicide truck bomb attack near a Nato base in Logar province, Afghanistan officials say.
Kabul / NationalTurk – The attacker blew the vehicle up outside the NAto outpost in Mohammad Agha district south of Kabul after being stopped at the gate, officials reported.
No-one, but the driver of the truck was killed but a number of civilians are reported injured. Many nearby buildings were destroyed. Taliban claimed attack has taken many Nato soldiers lives. Nato denied Taliban claims that many foreign soldiers had been killed.
A Nato spokesman confirmed to the BBC that there had been “a single attack” against Combat Outpost Maclean in Logar province. He said there had been no Nato fatalities.
