Fenerbahçe chairman Aziz Yıldırım questioned by Police

aziz_yildirimFenerbahçe chairman Aziz Yıldırım was questioned at the Istanbul police directorate over “Fake Doctors Report” allegations that stopped him from going to the army which is compulsory in Turkey.

It is believed that the telephone calls of members of a lucrative gang who operated in providing fake documents was listened by police during an investigation which led them to believe that they were trying to get ten million TL (Turkish Lira) from the Fenerbahçe chairman.

It is thought that Aziz Yıldırım’s name was in documents that were seized from a lucrative gang who operated in providing fake documents.

The prosecutor, Colonel Ahmet Zeki Üçok was also among 6 others who were arrested linked to the gang.

Fenerbahçe chairman Aziz Yıldırım, arrived at the Istanbul police directorate and questioned by the organised crime department.

Yıldırım who was questioned for approximately one hour in the organised crime department left the Istanbul police directorate.

However, a written statement released by the lawyer of Aziz Yıldırım, wrote “My client arrived at the Istanbul police directorate in the morning hours to be questioned as a victim of a gang which the police are currently investigating”
