Tunisia’s ousted president Ben Ali sentenced to 20 years
Tunisia’s dictator Ben Ali faces countless trials and was already sentenced to more than sixty years in prison on a range of other charges including drug trafficking and defalcation. Tunisia’s government has faced persistent criticism over its setback to persuade islamic country Saudi Arabia to hand over tunisian politician Ben Ali and his wife Leila Trabelsi, a ex- hairdresser whose lavish lifestyle and clique of wealthy relatives came to be seen by many Tunisians as a symbol of the corrupt era.
