“Unfortunately, we have experienced and are living together some developments that have negatively affected living standards,” said Numan Kurtulmuş, the deputy chairman of the ruling AKP.
Participating in a conference in Batman, AKP Deputy Chairman Numan Kurtulmus said that Turkey’s current account deficit has reached a very reasonable level. Referring to the economic crisis, Kurtulmuş said:
“Turkey has achieved a great export output. Of course; meanwhile, as in other countries, the increase in production costs, especially inflation and cost of living, affected the daily lives of our citizens. Unfortunately, we have all experienced and are living through some developments that negatively affect living standards.
