CSKA Moscow on Friday beat Gescrap Bilbao 73-71 at Bilbao Arena in game 4 of the Euroleague quarterfinals to advance to the Final Four of Europe’s key basketball tournament.
CSKA defeated the Spanish side with a 3-1 series win. The Final Four will take place in Istanbul in May.
Former NBA’s Utah Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko came up with 23 points and eight rebounds, pulling down the crucial one with two seconds to go in the fourth quarter to seal the deal.
CSKA made it to the Final Four for eight years in a row in 2003-2010, winning the tournament twice – in 2006 and 2008.
