Egyptian state TV announced Friday that the army has found the wreckage of the EgyptAir plane that went missing a day earlier.
The debris was found 290 kilometers (180 miles) north of Alexandria.
EgyptAir flight MS804 from Paris to Cairo with 66 people on board had disappeared over the eastern Mediterranean on Thursday morning after entering Egyptian airspace.
