FC Bayern increases offer for Liverpool star Mané

The record champion has been courting Sadio Mané for several weeks. However, no change has yet taken place. Now the people of Munich are said to have increased their offer.

Does he come or does he not come? That is the question in Bayern poker about Liverpool’s Sadio Mané. Most recently, the record champions have already shown great interest, but the transfer could not yet be announced due to the different ideas regarding the transfer fee. But that could change now. As “Bild” writes, FC Bayern have now increased their offer again.

Accordingly, those responsible for the club are said to have approved the third offer for the offensive player internally. Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic probably deposited 35 million euros as a fixed transfer fee and also packed five million euros for possible bonus payments.

FC Bayern will probably come close to Liverpool’s desired sum

That would be a total of 40 million euros. Liverpool FC recently confirmed that the Premier League club would like to get back the amount it paid Southampton FC for Mané in 2016: around 41 million euros. The current offer would come very close to this amount and could pave the way for a final transfer.

First, the Munich team had made an offer of around 25 million plus bonus payments to Liverpool and then increased this sum by two million, which was not enough for coach Jürgen Klopp’s club. Both sides are said to have already agreed on a three-year contract.

FC Bayern has recently signed two players from Ajax Amsterdam for the coming season and recently made the transfer of Ryan Gravenberch.
