French media outlets are reporting that two police officers were injured Thursday morning when gunfire broke out in southern Paris.
Emergency vehicles were seen in the Malakoff area following the reported shooting. It is unknown if the incident is related to Wednesday’s Charlie Hebdo attack that left 12 people dead.
Meanwhile, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said several arrests had been made overnight as police continue to search for the two main suspects in the case.
