Loan from the World Bank to Turkey

The World Bank will provide $341 million in loans to support the green and competitive growth of Turkey’s agricultural sector.

The World Bank approved a loan of $341.27 million to be provided to Turkey in order to support a more sustainable and competitive agricultural sector and to encourage the use of climate-compatible technologies and practices in various provinces of the country.

More than 80 thousand farmers, service providers and veterinarians are expected to benefit directly from the project.
