Iran has sentenced two prominent opposition filmmakers to six years in jail each on vague charges of working against the ruling system, their lawyers said Monday. Jafar Panahi, an internationally renowned filmmaker, was also banned from shooting movies or writing scripts for 20 years, his lawyer said. The other filmmaker is Mohammad Rasulov.
