We set a new world record: Imran

While addressing party workers, Imran said they have established a world record by staging a sit-in for 45 consecutive days.

“PM Nawaz did PTI a favour by summoning a joint session of Parliament since it revealed the real faces of parliamentarians. The difference between Nawaz and me is that I built myself, I was not brought up by General Ziaul Haq,” said Imran and refuted claims that he has been staging a sit-in on ‘someone’s’ directions.

“I will keep on staging the sit-in till I get Nawaz Sharif’s resignation,” he vowed.

Meanwhile, PM Nawaz Sharif said the entire Parliament and the nation stands on one side while a handful of elements (referring to Imran Khan and cleric Tahir-ul-Qadri) stand on the other

“Those staging sit-ins are doing their work while the government will continue to function without any detraction,” he said.
