The Pope Yesterday criticized Britains equality legislation, claiming Harriet Harman’s attempts to bring in new laws enforced sinful behaviour.
Benedict XVl and the Vatican was against the Equality Legislation as it may force the Roman Catholic Church to hire homosexuals or transsexuals.
Benedict XVl condemned the Labour’s Bill in extraordinary terms as an assault on the ‘natural law’ of Christianity or in other words a sin.
The Pope declared that some recent equality legislation has acted ‘to impose unjust limitations on the freedom of religious communities to act in accordance with their beliefs’.
He added: ‘In some respects it actually violates the natural law upon which the equality of all human beings is grounded and by which it is guaranteed.’
The speech came after the Pope announced that he will visit Britain in September this year.
