Ricardo Querasma, Besiktas JK’ beleaguered footballer, who is currently shelved by a decision of Besiktas board, was arrested today in Lisbon, Portugal
Lissabon – NationalTurk – Querasma was in Lissabon for a trial regarding the mugging incident he was involved earlier this year. Actually a victim in the incident, Quaresma is reported to have attacked a police officer in a Lisbon courthouse. It is unknown as of yet, why the star player who has serious problems with his current team Besiktas Istanbul, might have attacked an officer.
The assaulted police officer was reportedly taken to hospital following the incident.
Ricardo Quaresma was later released after giving his statement to the authorities however, he will appear before court on Thursday in relation to the offense.
