Real Madrid announce Eden Hazard transfer

Spanish football giants Real Madrid announced the transfer of Belgian star Eden Hazard late Friday.

An official club announcement said Real Madrid and Chelsea have agreed the transfer of the 28-year-old player.

“The player is linked to the club during the next five seasons, until June 30, 2024,” the statement said.

Hazard will be presented as a new player of Real Madrid on Thursday June 13 at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, after passing the relevant medical examination.

During his seven years with Chelsea, Eden Hazard appeared in 352 games, scored 110 goals, made 92 assists and lifted six trophies.

He won two Premier League titles, two UEFA Europa League titles, one FA Cup title and one League Cup title.
