Shania Twain posed for photographers at the People’s Choice Awards in Santa Monica on Tuesday in an outfit that was special for a number of reasons. And so it went on throughout the evening.
The 57-year-old’s first look was a tailored silk and velvet dress. The top was covered with transparent black fabric, which wrapped her and her hands, a kind of bikini top with a leopard print and a cape. Twain also wore a low-cut, floor-length black skirt that shimmered slightly.
Fans comment on the outfit on the official Instagram profile of the ceremony. “She’s still the one,” someone writes, posting a flame. Another person says, “She’s a living legend.” Here are more looks from the evening.
In the performance hall, Twain removed her dress and stepped onto the stage in a cowgirl-style red vinyl coat with a hat and sunglasses. She stripped off several layers of clothing during her medley performance. Beneath it was a suit of the same fabric.
