U.S. President Donald Trump revealed sensitive information about Israeli intelligence to Russian officials, the American magazine Vanity Fair reported in an investigation published Wednesday.
Though Trump did not name Israel as being involved in an operation allegedly related to attempts by the Daesh terrorist group to develop new weapons, he did give away key details of the operation, the newspaper said.
Unnamed Israeli officials quoted by Vanity Fair said they were now worried about how they shared intelligence with Trump and were concerned that information given to Moscow could be passed on to Russian ally Iran, which Israel considers its most dangerous enemy.
