Second US man in charge after Obama, Joe Biden completed his talks with Turkish President in Ankara and headed for Istanbul with Air Force Two.

Ankara / NationalTurk- Us vice president Joe Biden completes his talks with Turkish Assembly President Cemil Cicek and Turkey’s President Abdullah Gül and left Turkish Capital Ankara with Air Force Two en route to Istanbul.

Biden visited Atatürk’s mausoleum in Ankara and wrote into visitor’s book : Ataturk is a figure of importance, leaders all across the world should be inspired by the Ataturk’s contribution to democracy and Turkey’s development. He then quoted one of Atatürk’s speeches and written ‘ never shall we see our accomplishments as completed, we must be obliged and determined for more’.

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden has called on Turkey in his official visit to the country to impose new sanctions against Iran, while praising Ankara for its role in pressuring Syria to stop its bloody crackdown on protesters.

Joe Biden will meet Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Istanbul and take part at global entrepreneurship summit opening.
