Fenerbah\u00e7e Sports Club Istanbul may be upside down financially if the worst case scenario in the match fixing probe scandal should occur.<\/h1>\n

Fenerbah\u00e7e Sports Club confronts with the danger of losing $22 Million from broadcast rights, $17 Million from its success rate and 15 million liras from its championship. If they won’t be granted access to participate in the Champions League, $12 Million will be the sole loss from not entering the competition. Since the limit on foreign players per roster in the Bank Asya 1st League is three, eight players will have to leave the club, most probably on free transfers.<\/p>\n

While the president, vice-president, account manager and players of the club were taken into custody due the match-fixing case, everyone is curious about what will happen next.<\/p>\n

New Turkey Law : Violence and Disorder in sports cause prison sentence verdicts<\/h3>\n

The players are keeping themselves out of these incidents as much as possible as they prepare for the new season, momentarily in Turkey.<\/p>\n

If the investigation results with the worst scenario, there can be prison sentence verdicts, according to the newest draft law targeting violence and disorder in sports, passed by Parliament last March.<\/p>\n
