Argentinias have protested outside the British embassy in Buenos Aires to demand Argentina break off diplomatic relations with the UK over the Falkland Islands dispute, as Argentina wovs to fight for Falklands.<\/h1>\n

Buenos Aires \/ NationalTurk – Argentine Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo confirmed that his country’s claim of sovereignty over the Falkland Islands is a State policy that cannot be waived.<\/p>\n

One point which all Argentine governments since the return of democracy “have absolutely agreed on is in strongly supporting our country’s sovereignty”, he said.<\/p>\n

Since 2003, with the arrival of Nestor Kirchner to the presidency, “Argentina’s requests in international forums have intensified” and “always by peaceful means,” he recalled.<\/p>\n

In remarks to Radio Mitre, the minister said that the government of Cristina Fernandez will “insist so that the United Kingdom dialogue and discuss the issue of sovereignty. ”<\/p>\n

“For us there is no doubt: the Falklands belong to Argentine and there’s no explanation for the British presence in the Islands,” he said.<\/p>\n

On Friday, Governor of Falkland Islands Nigel Haywood described as “miscalculation” the decision of the Southern Common Market, comprised of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, to close its ports to vessels with flags of the Falklands, considered by the United Kingdom a British Overseas Territory.<\/p>\n

Tension has been increasing ahead of the 30th anniversary of the Falklands War in April. Argentine leaders were particularly angered by\u00a0the British Prime Minister David Cameron comments , when he stated Argentina’s demand for sovereignty was “like colonialism” because it ignored the islanders’ right to self-determination.<\/p>\n

Argentina is demanding talks on its claim to sovereignty over the territory, which it calls Las Malvinas and the words of a British Prime Minister accusing Argentina for Colonlalism is ridiculious, since England is the epitome for colonialism.<\/p>\n
