New Democracy Party\u00a0urged Athens to form a cabinet as soon as possible.<\/h1>\n<p>Greeks had voted to stay in the eurozone and called for a national redemption government. Germany&#8217;s chancellor Angela Merkel has\u00a0telephoned Antonis Samaras &#8211; Greek politician and the leader of New Democracy party, to congratulate him on his victory and said she\u00a0hope that a future government in Athens &#8216; will stand by its European commitments. &#8216;<\/p>\n<h2>New Democracy in Greece : staying in the eurozone<\/h2>\n<p>European leaders have prejudiced that if a new Greek government rejected the bailout, the country could be forced to resign the single currency. But\u00a0New Democracy foreman Antonis Samaras had official told that Greeks had decided to stay in the eurozone which is necessary to save their country and it opens the prospect of the Greek nation for a better future.\u00a0New Democracy in Greece should be able to build a generality coalition with the socialist Pasok, benefiting from a rule which allow the main party to get around fifty extra seats in the three hundred seat chamber.\u00a0While the radical-left Syriza and other smaller parties have reversed the bailout, Antonis Samaras New Democracy party and Pasok &#8211;\u00a0the main centre-left party\u00a0said they would stay with it in a renegotiated form.<\/p>\n<h3>Greek people had voted for the euro<\/h3>\n<p>Antonis Samaras and his New Democracy party got 30,1 % of the vote, Syriza 26,5 %. It meant nobody had enough votes to give them a majority in the 3 hundred seat Greek Parliament.\u00a0If no coalition deal is felled, the chances of the debt-ridden country crashing out of the euro would growth, sparking economic chaos across the continent.<\/p>\n<p>But New Democracy leader Antonis Samaras has told yesterday that he had spoken with a Greeks and the euro\u00a0would\u00a0be saved.
