After five years Hollywood star Tom Cruise and American actress Katie Holmes are getting divorced.<\/h1>\n

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes\u00a0are ending their marriage seven years after he\u00a0famously jumped on a couch during an ‘ Oprah ‘ taping to declare his love for Katie.<\/p>\n

Seven months after their doughter Suri was born, the couple married in Italy, 2006. Many pictures of the famous family have often occured in tabloid magazines in the years since, though the couple have steered clear of controversy and repeatedly appeared together at parties and events.\u00a0In the June edition of Playboy magazine Hollywood star Tom Cruise said he loves his wife Katie Holmes\u00a0as much as when they got hitched for the first time.
