Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is in the hunt for Arsenal contract rebel Robin van Persie.<\/h1>\n

The Sun says Ferguson will be among the guests at the Labour Party Sports Dinner this evening at Arsenal\u2019s Emirates Stadium.<\/p>\n

And sources insist Fergie remains in the hunt for Van Persie after the Dutchman refused to extend his deal with the Gunners.<\/p>\n

United\u2019s rivals Manchester City are determined to step up their interest in last season\u2019s double player of the year once they have finalised the \u00a36million sale of Emmanuel Adebayor to Tottenham.<\/p>\n

Van Persie, however, is believed to be concerned about boss Roberto Mancini\u2019s policy of rotating his strikers and possibly being a sub.<\/p>\n

Fergie would love to pair him with Wayne Rooney to form a formidable partnership as he bids to take the title back to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

Manchester United Transfer News : Dimitar\u00a0Berbatov Future Uncertain<\/h2>\n

Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov faces an uncertain future after the club received no offers for the 30-year-old.<\/p>\n

Berbatov wants to leave Old Trafford in search of first-team football but despite reported interest from Malaga, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Galatasaray and Paris St Germain, there have been no concrete bids for the Bulgarian ,claims Berbatov\u2019s future at the club is \u2018in limbo\u2019.<\/p>\n

United have exercised a one-year contract extension on Berbatov\u2019s current deal with the club but are said by the Mirror to be demanding a \u00a310million transfer fee which is deterring would-be purchasers (other outlets put Berbatov\u2019s value at \u00a36-8million).<\/p>\n

However, Berbatov has been included on the side\u2019s tour which begins later this month, which could put him in the shop window.<\/p>\n

Manchester United Transfer News : Lucas Moura Ignores Interest<\/h3>\n

Manchester United transfer target Lucas Moura says he is ignoring interest in him from some of Europe\u2019s top sides and just wants to get on with playing football.<\/p>\n

It was reported yesterday that United have sent a delegation to Brazil to discuss a possible move for the 19-year-old Sao Paulo forward who is also interesting Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan.<\/p>\n

United are believed to be prepared to pay around \u00a330million for Lucas while Inter have already had a bid of 25million euro (\u00a320million) rejected by Sao Paulo. Chelsea were linked this summer with a bid of 40million euro (\u00a332million).<\/p>\n

\u201cSpecifically I know nothing. Just speculation \u2013 interest.\u201d Moura told reporters at a press conference with other members of Brazil\u2019s Olympic football squad.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m glad that a big European team is showing interest, but I stay out of it, my agent deals with those issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to worry about that and I don\u2019t define my worth. I just want to play football.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Monday, Lucas suggested he may be ready to leave Sao Paulo; this was despite recent comments pledging his future to the club.
