Allan Mcgregor could be set to boot out a megabucks offer from Besiktas \u2013 despite the Turks insisting they\u2019ve already landed the ex-Rangers keeper.<\/h1>\n

He was shocked last night when claims emerged from Istanbul that he has sealed a three-year contract with the Super Lig side.\u00a0McGregor\u2019s advisers have been in discussions with Besiktas since he opted to say no to Charles Green\u2019s newco and leave the stricken Ibrox club as a free agent.\u00a0However, while the Turks believe they have got their man, no deal has been signed with McGregor still considering a range of options including at least one possible move to England\u2019s Premier League.<\/p>\n

And after the nightmarish experiences of former Ibrox and Scotland team-mates Kris Boyd and Kenny Miller in Turkey, the shot-stopper is believed to favour the idea of staying closer to home. Kenny\u00a0Miller, who shares the same agent as the Scotland No.1, left Glasgow for Bursaspor in January last year but was back in Britain to sign for Cardiff City six months later.
\nKriss Boyd\u2019s stint at Eskisehirspor this time last year proved even less successful as the frontman played a mere 76 minutes of league football in five months before terminating his contract and insisting he had not been paid a penny of his wages.<\/p>\n

Besiktas moved in for McGregor after a \u00a34million move for Nice keeper David Ospina collapsed.
\nAnd, yesterday, Besiktas football committee Chairman, Ahmet Kavalci, said: \u201cWe wanted Ospina and were in negotiations for over a month.
\n\u201cHowever, the fees for the transfer kept changing and they were very high and we hardly had a chance to talk to him directly because he had so many representatives. In the circumstances, a transfer was too difficult.<\/p>\n

\u201cMcGregor was next on our list of candidates and we had already negotiated with him. We have researched him and we know what house he wants, we have examined his lifestyle and his family structure. He\u2019s a very talented goalkeeper and we expect he will sign.
