Young art genius Kieron Williamson, from Norfolk, Great Britain, had his landscape pictures snapped up by telephone and internet buyers from around the world in just 15 minutes during a recent sale. Kieron Williamson sold his 24 paintings for the sume of 386 thousand dollars.<\/p>\n

Eschewing lesser quality materials, Kieron Williamson started painting in oil as well as watercolors when he was jus five-year-old, creating bucolic scenes of the English countryside for a hungry group of domestic and international buyers. His mother – Michelle Williamson, writes on her website :\u00a0\u00a0‘ Kieron has always insisted on good quality adult art materials. He’s never been happy with poster paints! ‘<\/p>\n

The youngster Kieron Williamson has started painting during a family trip to Devon and Cornwall four years ago – before then he had just coloured in dinosaurs his parents had drawn for him.\u00a0But since then he has become an international art sensation with some of his pieces being bought for tens of thousands of pounds.<\/p>\n

Before the Kieron Williamson’s gallerie\u00a0stand his fans in lines up to several hour. Some of them\u00a0even camped outside the gallery for up to 48 hours to make sure they did not miss out on one of his paintings while others telephoned in bids from Tokyo, Canada and Germany.\u00a0The m<\/span>ost expensive painting ever sold was a landscape shows the harbor Mevagissey in Cornwall\u00a0which was bought by an insurance company last year and now hangs in its boardroom.

Kieron’s work first came on the market in the summer three years ago, when 19 of his paintings were sold for 14 thousands pounds in a sealed bid auction.\u00a0The paintings sold recently included 2 landscapes priced at 34,950 pounds each while even small pastels which took him just a few minutes to paint sold for between six and seven-thousands.<\/p>\n

Before hitting the big time, the young famous painter Kieron Williamson used to live with his family in a rented flat next door to a petrol station in Holt.\u00a0<\/span>But with his\u00a0earnings set to pass the 1 million pounds, ‘ Mini Monet’s ‘ family have been able to move to a home in the picturesque village of Ludham in the Norfolk Broads – which was the home of Kieron Williamson’s artist God Edward Seago.<\/p>\n

38-year-old Michelle Williamson, Kieron’s mother is writting a book about her talented son called : ‘\u00a0Kieron Williamson Coming to Light – The Remarkable Story of a Child\u2019s Gift to Painting. ‘<\/p>\n

He makes sure that he has time for all the other things he enjoys.\u00a0He no longer gets up at 6am and knocks out a painting before school. He would rather watch TV and play about – but he still loves painting and does two or three a week. ‘<\/p>\n

Kieron Williamson’s parents, Michelle and Keith Williamson will remain as directors until the prodigy is old enough to handle his own financial affairs. They said that they are\u00a0<\/span>bit paranoid about how Kieron is viewed and that it is important to them is that Kieron remains balanced and relates to his peers.<\/p>\n

Kieron Williamson will be signing copies of his mother\u2019s book at the opening of his latest exhibition.\u00a0<\/span>The retrospective exhibition will feature more than 100 of his paintings over the years to illustrate how his work has progressed. Art genius\u00a0Kieron Williamson added: ‘ I would like to go to other countries to paint and experience different lights. I want to explore Norfolk, Cornwall and Scotland a bit more. ‘<\/p>\n\n
