Kurdistan Workers Party attacks in rural western Turkey, one Turkish soldier killed<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

One Turkish soldier has been killed and four others were wounded in an ambush Kurdish militants near the western province of Izmir this morning.<\/h2>\n
PKK has fired\u00a0on Turkish soldiers after a landmine planted on the road leading toward the Turkish Amphibious Forces Command in western part of Turkey was detonated via remote control while a military vehicle passed by today in the morning.<\/div>\n

According to initial reports, one soldier has been killed in the clash after Turkish soldiers fired back on PKK members. Four other wounded soldiers were taken to Fo\u00e7a State Hospital.<\/div>\n

\u00a0PKK terrorists has been fighting an armed struggle against the Turkish state\u00a0for an autonomous Kurdistan\u00a0and greater cultural and political\u00a0rights for the Kurds in Turkey. PKK\u00a0is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
