Support and investment in Azerbaijan’s football are in full swing.<\/h2>\n

Azerbaijan Football federation supports National team and club-level soccer teams which increased their investments.<\/p>\n

Now University of Baku aims to land the coach of the Hali\u00e7 University Istanbul football team, the European champion titled football scholar M\u00fcsl\u00fcm G\u00fclhan for success.<\/p>\n

NationalTurk Special Report – The success of M\u00fcsl\u00fcm G\u00fclhan, the academician, football scholar and NationalTurk reporter, with Istanbul Hali\u00e7 (Golden Horn) University football team of capturing three-time European championship, attracted the attention of the University of Baku, one of the prestigious educational institutions of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

Azerbaijani bussinessmen and Azerbaijan Football Federation has been making significant investments in recent years in football. Berti Vogts, the former coach of Germany had been appointed as national team’s manager and Azerbaijani clubs invest more for new signings and infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Being aware of the fact that colleges and universities are monumental for the achievement and development of young players, Azerbaijan’s University of Baku wishes to appoint M\u00fcsl\u00fcm G\u00fclhan, who has proven himself to be an excellent mentor as an academican and mentor for young footballers with all those titles.<\/p>\n

M\u00fcsl\u00fcm G\u00fclhan’s contribution at training of young athletes, starts at high school level. He leads the football team of \u015eehremini High School to Istanbul and Turkey titels in 2001, then to Asian Olympic Games championship titel later in the same year, which is recognized as a superb feat.<\/p>\n

He starts then his academedical career at Hali\u00e7 University in Istanbul at the Department of Physical Education and Sports in 2002. M\u00fcsl\u00fcm G\u00fclhan also pioneeres for the establishment of the university’s football team and also begins to coach the team.<\/p>\n

In the following years G\u00fclhan realizes the project of opening a Sports Acedemy at Halic University. M\u00fcsl\u00fcm G\u00fclhan receives the fruits of his labor at the university as an academician and coach of young athletes during his 12 years.<\/p>\n

In 2004-2005-2006 G\u00fclhan leads his team to consecutive Istanbul championships titles. 2006, 2010 and lastly in the European championship for Universities in 2012 he wins all-important European Championship titles with Hali\u00e7 University football team.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
