Champions League Preview: Real Madrid vs Manchester City<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spanish giants Real Madrid will be seeking to bounce back from their disappointing 1-0 loss to Sevilla in La Liga when they open their Champions League campaign against Manchester City on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has a fully fit squad to pick from going into his side’s first Champions League game of the season, but the rumored dissatisfaction of star player Cristiano Ronaldo continues to hit the headlines at home and abroad.<\/p>\n

The Portuguese manager’s opposite number Roberto Mancini has no fresh injury concerns going into the game, but there are still a number of players who will miss the trip.<\/p>\n

Brazilian right back Maicon could be handed a European debut for his new club after starting against Stoke, with Micah Richards still battling an ankle injury and Pablo Zabaleta nursing a hamstring strain.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Jack Rodwell may manage to shake off a knee injury in time, while Sergio Aguero could still play some part as he completes an earlier than expected return from his own knee problem.<\/p>\n

Jos\u00e9 Mourinho said he took the blame for Real Madrid CF’s poor start as Manchester City FC arrived for the opening match in what Roberto Mancini considers a “complicated” Group D.<\/p>\n

Champions League Preview:\u00a0Montpellier vs Arsenal\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The hosts will be making their debut in Europe\u2019s elite competition after their surprise Ligue 1 triumph last season but go into the game in poor domestic form having lost three of their five games so far.<\/p>\n

Arsenal on the other hand are seasoned champions leaguers and will commence their 15th consecutive year in the competition tonight.<\/p>\n

We are also in far better form and go into the game off the back of Saturday\u2019s impressive 6-1 hammering of Southampton at the Emirates. A similar performance against Montpellier will surely only result in one outcome; an Arsenal win.<\/p>\n

Much of the pre-match talk has centered around Olivier Giroud making a return to his old club and while he hit 20 goals last year for the French outfit, he\u2019s struggled to replicate that form in an Arsenal shirt so far.<\/p>\n

Arsene Wenger will be in the stands for this one as he begins his three-match touchline ban, so Steve Bould will be in charge.<\/p>\n

Montpellier coach Rene Girard is able to welcome back Mapou-Mbiwa and Remy Cabella after resting them at the weekend. Emmanuel Herrera will continue in attack despite his poor early-season form. Girard has no fresh injury worries.<\/p>\n

Arsene Wenger however has had to leave No.1 goalkeeper Woijech Szczesny behind after he picked up an ankle knock. Vito Mannone will come in and look to build upon the two clean sheets he\u2019s collected already this season. Young keeper James Shea will be on the bench.<\/p>\n

Theo Walcott is pushing for a start after overcoming the effects of a virus. Abou Diaby is expected to come back in after missing Saturday\u2019s action with a minor muscle problem.<\/p>\n

Jack Wilshere, Bacary Sagna, Tomas Rosicky, Lukasz Fabianski and Emmanuel Frimpong all remain out after lengthy lay-offs.<\/p>\n

Champions League Preview: PSG vs Dynamo Kiev<\/strong><\/p>\n

Big-spending Paris Saint-Germain mark their return to the Champions League with a clash at home to Dynamo Kyiv on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Ligue 1 giants will compete in Europe’s premier club competition for the first time since 2004\/05 when they welcome Kyiv to Parc des Princes for their Group A encounter.<\/p>\n

Carlo Ancelotti’s men have made a solid if unspectacular start to their league campaign, drawing three games and winning their past two.<\/p>\n

Star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has proven unstoppable since arriving in France, netting five league goals.<\/p>\n

The Swedish international will need goalscoring support from the likes of Javier Pastore and Ezequiel Lavezzi if PSG are to progress in the Champions League.<\/p>\n

In further good news for PSG, defender Thiago Silva, who joined with Ibrahimovic from AC Milan, is set to make his debut.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian has been recovering from a thigh injury suffered at the London Olympics, delaying his first appearance for his new club.<\/p>\n

Kyiv have made a strong start in the Ukrainian Premier League, losing just two of their opening nine games.<\/p>\n
