\"EuropaThe UEFA Europa League Draw was made today Friday 18th, December in Nyon, Switzerland just after the Champions League draw. Early indications of an exciting Europa League tournament was open to all eyes today with arguably the biggest game of the Europa League first round Knock out stage is Ajax V Juventus. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Last years UEFA Cup winners FC Shakhtar Donetsk will face Fulham in the first knock out stage. Last years runners up, Werder Bremen, will be travelling to FC Twente while the only side to finish the group stage with a 100 per cent record, FC Salzburg will be playing against R. Standard de Li\u00e8ge.<\/p>\n

From the eight sides that finished third in the UEFA Champions League and got the write to transfer to the Europa League, Liverpool FC will take on FC Unirea Urziceni, Olympique de Marseille meet FC K\u00f8benhavn and excitingly, Juventus play AFC Ajax. The latter pair have won one apiece in European Champion Clubs’ Cup finals between them, and together contribute six of the 16 titles in the \u00e9lite competition accrued by the last-32 teams. Liverpool, OM, Hamburg, PSV and SL Benfica contribute to that tally, and the latter will play Hertha BSC Berlin.<\/p>\n

Fenerbahce will play against French side Lille with the winners of this tie facing the winners of the Liverpool FC v FC Unirea Urziceni match. Most Fenerbahce fans were delighted with the first matchup but the possibility of facing Liverpool in the second knock out stage should they go through is worrying the canaries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Galatasaray will face Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid with the winners of this match playing with the winners of Everton v Sporting Clube.<\/strong><\/p>\n
