Mr Monjack is one of many people that will be interviewed by authorities over the actresses last hours before she was found unconscious in the bathroom of her LA home.<\/h1>\n<p>Speaking for the first time since Murphy\u2019s death screenwriter Monjack, 39, said his world had been destroyed by the death of his wife. He told Access  Hollywood \u2013 a celebrity TV show and website \u2013 that the day she collapsed in her bathroom had been just a \u2018regular day\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>He added that, \u201cMurphy\u2019s mother Sharon went into the bathroom because she was taking too long and found her unconscious on the floor. She screamed for me and I ran to the bathroom. Then called 911\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Miss Murphy had been ill in the days leading up to her death and had seen a  doctor, confirmed Mr Monjack.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018She had laryn<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-2714\" title=\"murphy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nationalturk.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/murphy-135x227-custom.jpg\" alt=\"murphy\" width=\"135\" height=\"227\" \/>gitis. She had been tired at the end of the year. She had made a couple movies,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018She found love. We found love. Brittany didn\u2019t get to where Brittany was with anyone controlling her. Brittany was Brittany.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Speculation is mounting that anorexia may have played a role in Miss Murphy&#8217;s death.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. star, who is thought to have suffered a heart attack, was pictured looking painfully thin just two-and-a-half weeks ago at a fashion event in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>She even admitted at the time that she was a little concerned about her weight.<\/p>\n<p>She reportedly told FOX News: &#8216;I am a bit thinner now than I would like to be&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Some guests at the Tt Collection Pop-Up Party claimed she also appeared &#8216;unsteady on her feet&#8217;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Simon Monjack, the British husband of Brittany Murphy, is to be questioned by the police over the death of the actress.
