We have no intelligence that indicates the Pakistanis knew he was there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>McRaven said there was never a moment he doubted the raid would succeed. \u201cWe hand-picked the guys. They were the best of the best, all across the board. They had extensive combat experience, and consequently\u2026 I was very confident.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Admiral McRaven said the US relationship with that country was improving. \u201cI think it\u2019s improving. We obviously went through a rough spell, but we have \u2014 it\u2019s a complicated relationship with Pakistan, but it\u2019s a good relationship.
