There has been no let up in rape incidents in India and chastity of more women have been outraged by the rapists.<\/h1>\n

New Delhi, Dec 22\/Nationalturk – Despite massive uproar over the gang rape of 23-year-old female student, who is presently undergoing treatment in a hospital in Indian capital, there has been no let up in rape incidents across India and more rape incidents have taken place.<\/p>\n

Another gang rape<\/h2>\n

Police said another case of gang rape has been reported from Indian capital. \u201cA 40-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped in Welcome area of Delhi by three persons\u201d.<\/p>\n

Media reports said the victim is mother of the four. One of the accused has been arrested while two others are absconding. Police have launched a manhunt to track them down.<\/p>\n

Police said the accused entered into her house and forced her to consume a spiked drink and later took turns to rape her.<\/p>\n

3-year-old raped<\/h3>\n

According to media reports, a 3-year-old girl was raped in a play-school in Delhi.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe child was allegedly raped by the husband of the owner of the school in west Delhi’s Sagarpur area, and the incident came to light two days later,\u201d reports quoted police as saying.<\/p>\n

12-yr-girl raped<\/h4>\n

Media reports further said that a 12 year0old girl was raped by 35-year old.<\/p>\n

“The 12-year-girl victim, who hailed from a village under Chintapalle block, was waiting at the bus stop yesterday when the accused lured her under the pretext of dropping her home on his bike. He then took her to an isolated place near a degree college and sexually assaulted her,” police said.<\/p>\n

2 gang-rapes in Indian state of Orissa<\/h5>\n

There have been two incidents of gang rapes in Indian State of Orissa.<\/p>\n

Two new cases of the crime have been reported in Odisha involving a 19-year-old girl from Bhubaneswar and a 24-year-old woman from Keonjhar district.<\/p>\n

\u201cFive persons allegedly gang-raped a 19-year-old girl (A part-time dancer) in Bhubaneswar, capital of Orissa. The rapists lured the girl to a secluded house and raped her,\u201d reports said.<\/p>\n

Police said four persons have been arrested while a manhunt has been launched to track the fifth accused, who is absconding.<\/p>\n

Reports further said that 24-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by three youth in Keonjhar district in Orissa. \u201cShe was abducted and taken to a forest area, where she was raped by the trio. The trio have been arrested,\u201d police said.<\/p>\n

Delhi unsafe: CM<\/h5>\n

The Chief Minister of Delhi Shiela Dixit has admitted that that Delhi was certainly unsafe.<\/p>\n

\u201cDelhi is certainly unsafe. I was even ashamed to face the victim of the brutal gangrape, who has been battling for life at the Safdarjung Hospital,\u201d Dixit told TV channel CNN-IBN.<\/p>\n

She was referring to the 23-year-old gang rape victim, who is undergoing treatment at Delhi\u2019s Safdarjang hospital. She was raped in a moving bus on Sunday by six persons, beaten with iron rods and later thrown on road in semi-naked condition. She is in critical condition and doctors are making every possible effort to save her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe policemen need to change their mindset. Nobody monitors CCTVs installed in Delhi, I’m skeptical about isolated measured announced recently…if closing bars at 1 am will ensure safety, so be it. The incident had left Delhi stunned and I feel ashamed that I can’t do anything,\u201d added Dixit.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the 6th accused involved in gang rape of 23-year-old female , who was absconding, has been arrested by police. Five have already been arrested.<\/p>\n

Police fires tear gas shells<\/h5>\n

The students, woman activists and people from all walks of life staged demonstrations in Delhi and other parts of India against the gang rape of a young woman in a moving bus. Carrying placards and banners, the protestors were demanding speedy trial of the case, capital punishment to the rapists and justice to the rape victim.<\/p>\n

Some of the protestors tried to march towards Raisina Hill, official residence of Indian President. However, they were intercepted by policemen, who fired tear gas shells and water cannon to disperse them.\u00a0 Scores of persons were injured in the police action.<\/p>\n

The protests were going on at many other places including historic Indian Gate.<\/p>\n

“The protesters need to calm down, only then can a dialogue happen from the government’s side in an orderly manner. We can’t let the protesters break barricades and run into government property. The government has taken its stance that it will demand the harshest punishment for the rapists,\u201d Indian Home Secretary\u00a0 R P N Singh told CNN-IBN.<\/p>\n
