Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has threatened to take jehad into Indian administered Kashmir by sending fighters in the region, who will wage a struggle for implementation of Islamic rule.<\/h1>\n

New Delhi, Jan 8\/Nationalturk – Pakistan\u2019s dreaded militant outfit, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has threatened to wage jehad in Indian administered Kashmir by sending fighters in the region and wage a struggle for implementation of Islamic rule.<\/p>\n

According to Washington-based think tank, Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor (JTTM) of Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), TTP leader Wali-Ur-Rehman is believed to have appeared in a rare video with the TTP chief Hamikullah Mehsud and the two militant commanders, who are most wanted militants in Pakistan, have spoken for the first time about militant outfit\u2019s ambition to move beyond Af-Pak region and fight against Indian soldiers in Kashmir.<\/p>\n

“We will carry the practical struggle for Islamic Shariah system in Kashmir as we are presently carrying out in Pakistan. We will implement the Shariah system in India too. And this is the only solution for people’s problems,” Indian wire news agency PTI quoted TTP leader Wali-ur-Rehman as saying. \u00a0The wire agency said it has been provided translation by MEMRI.<\/p>\n

The 45:52 minute video s titled, \u00a0“The False Propaganda of the Dajjali Media Revealed\u201d is in Pashtu having Urdu subtitles.<\/p>\n

According to PTI, TTP leader Rehman says in the video that Jihad launched by the Pakistani government in Indian Kashmir has failed to yield any desired result. \u201cTTP would launch its own jihad in Kashmir. The Tehreek-e-Taliban mujahideen (militants) will arrive in Kashmir and as per the Islamic Shariah will help the Kashmiri people get their rights\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs our ancestors sacrificed their lives for Kashmir and got a portion of Kashmir (Pakistan administered Kashmir) liberated in 1947-48, the same way Taliban fighters will get Kashmir liberated from India,\u201d TTP leader said.<\/p>\n

\u2018Pakistan government-sponsored jehad cannot liberate Kashmir\u2019<\/h2>\n

He said Pakistan government-sponsored jihad in Indian Kashmir cannot liberate Kashmir. \u201cEven if it (Kashmir) were to be liberated, it will be for name only but the system will not change in favour of Islamic Shariah rule. Only Shariah system will change it and it is our promise to people in Kashmir that we will share their grief\u201d.<\/p>\n

Rehman claimed that Pakistan\u2019s \u2018dirty\u2019 policy on Kashmir have ruined and destroyed Kashmir. \u201cWe strongly condemn this policy as much as we do about India\u2019s atrocities\u201d.<\/p>\n

United States had announced a $5 million reward against Wali Ur Rehman for his involvement in murder of seven CIA officials in Afghanistan in December 2009.<\/p>\n

This is for the first time that Pakistan Taliban has talked about Indian Kashmir in so detail. Earlier, there used to be passing reference of Kashmir in TTP statements. \u00a0It remains to be seen what will be the reaction of Indian government in this regard.<\/p>\n
