President of Turkey Abdullah Gul made \u200b\u200ba statement on the execution of the PKK in Paris.<\/h1>\n

Turkish President Abdullah G\u00fcl has preached calm following the Jan. 10, execution-style killings of three Kurdish women in Paris, saying time is needed to reveal the truth concerning their murders.<\/p>\n

“We need a couple of days to understand what really happened and what the truth behind this incident is. Then the reality will be revealed. Whatever is said now won’t go beyond predictions,” G\u00fcl said earlier today during a visit to the inner Aegean province of U\u015fak.<\/p>\n

French Interior Minister Manuel Valls told reporters outside the murder scene that the three women had been \u201cwithout any doubt executed\u201d and described the killings as \u201ctotally unacceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan said the attack could be a provocation attempt.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe should first wait for the result of the investigation,\u201d Erdo\u011fan told a press conference in Dakar, his last stop on a three-day Africa tour. \u201cThere are [forces] who don\u2019t want a solution. This attack could be an attempted provocation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Erdo\u011fan urged all parties to wait until French officials bring light to the case. \u201cTo make a premature judgment would be an error. It could be an internal feud. Apart from that, we are currently carrying on a fight against terrorism. We want progress, and there are those who don\u2019t accept it,\u201d said Erdo\u011fan, adding that Turkey would pursue its \u201cgoodwill steps in fighting terrorism until it gets results.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister B\u00fclent Ar\u0131n\u00e7 expressed \u201chis sadness\u201d over the killings. The motive raised a lot of questions, according to Ar\u0131n\u00e7, who told reporters in Ankara: \u201cNo matter what crimes [they have allegedly committed], this is a very bad development.\u201d<\/p>\n

The co-leaders of the Peace and Democratic Party (BDP), G\u00fclten K\u0131\u015fanak and Selahattin Demirta\u015f, also strongly condemned the killings.
