Indian Air Chief Saturday warned Pakistan of other options if Pakistani soldiers continue to violate ceasefire along Line of Control (LoC), defacto border between India and Pakistan in Indian administered Kashmir.<\/h1>\n

New Delhi, Jan 12: Taking the border tension to higher level, Indian Air Chief Saturday warned Pakistan of other options if Pakistani soldiers continue to violate ceasefire along Line of Control (LoC), defacto border between India and Pakistan in Indian administered Kashmir.<\/p>\n

\u201cIndia will be forced to consider other options if ceasefire violations continue to take place from the Pakistan side,\u201d Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal NAK Browne told reporters today.<\/p>\n

Expressing his grave concern over the continuous ceasefire violation and firing from the Pakistani side, he said, \u201cWe have a Line of Control, we have a ceasefire agreement, we have certain mechanisms, we have certain structures and that is sacrosanct.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAny violation of these with impunity, especially as to what\u2019s been happening in the last few months, is totally unacceptable. We are monitoring the situation very carefully because if these things continue the way they are and the violations continue to take place, then perhaps we may have to look at some other options for compliance,\u201d warned Browne.<\/p>\n

Media reports say India, Pakistan have amassed troops<\/h2>\n

His warning comes amid media reports that both the nations \u2013 India and Pakistan \u2013 have amassed soldiers along the LoC, which is hot now after being calm since November 2003,<\/p>\n

The tension between the two nuclear armed South Asian neighbours aggravated after the beheading of two Indian army men by Pakistani soldiers on January 8. India has accused Pakistani soldiers of breaching LoC and ambushing an army patrol party. It has alleged that Pakistani soldiers beheaded the two soldiers and took head of one alongwith them. Pakistan government and army has, however, denied the charge.<\/p>\n

Pakistan side has alleged that India violated LoC ceasefire on January 6 by breaching LoC and targeting one of its posts in Hajipir sector in Kashmir. It had said one of its soldier was killed and another injured in the Pakistan attack. However, India has denied the charge.<\/p>\n

With tension continuing the prevailing on the LoC between Indian and Pakistani soldiers, China and United States have urged the two countries to maintain calm and peace and resolve their issues through talks and dialogue.<\/p>\n
