The tension along Line of Control has escalated further on Wednesday after Pakistani said another of its soldier was killed in \u201cunprovoked\u201d Indian firing.<\/h1>\n

Islamabad, Jan 16\/Nationalturk – The tension along Line of Control, defacto border between India and Pakistan in Indian administered Kashmir, has escalated further on Wednesday after Pakistani said another of its soldier was killed in \u201cunprovoked\u201d Indian firing<\/p>\n

\u201cIndian troops again violated LoC cease last evening. Indian army men carried out unprovoked firing on Pakistani posts at LoC in Hot Spring and Jandrot sectors from 2200 to 2300 hours,\u201d Pakistan army spokesman said.<\/p>\n

He said in the Indian army firing, Pakistani soldier posted at Kundi Post died. The deceased soldier was identified as Naik Ashraf.<\/p>\n

Pakistan army spokesman said Ashraf is survived by a wife and three daughters.<\/p>\n

With the death of Pakistani soldier, the death toll of soldiers killed in cross-LoC firing since January 6 has risen to five. Three belong to Pakistan army and two were Indian army men, whom India alleges were beheaded by Pakistani soldiers on January 8 in Poonch sector of Kashmir.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Pakistan\u2019s Geo News reported that Pakistan Army\u2019s Director General Military Operations (DGMO) Maj Gen Ashfaq Nadeem will call his Indian counterpart and lodge protest over India\u2019s violation of the Line of Control ceasefire and killing of Pakistani soldier.<\/p>\n

Indian and Pakistani soldiers have been observing LoC ceasefire since November 2003. Although there have been aberrations from both sides, but the ceasefire has been holding<\/p>\n

India is warmongering: Pakistan FM<\/h2>\n

Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has accused India of being warmongering.<\/p>\n

“We see warmongering,” Hina told reporters at Asia Society in New York.<\/p>\n

She said it is deeply disturbing to hear Indian statements, which are upping the ante, where one politician is competing with the other to give a more hostile statement against Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Hina denied Indian accusations that Pakistani soldiers had beheaded two Indian soldiers on January 8. \u201cAn inquiry has found no evidence of the deaths\u201d.<\/p>\n
