It was the final ball that was letting us down. There were four or five opportunities and if you don\u2019t take those chances 1-0 is not a healthy scoreline.\u201dTottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas punched the air in delight at the end and felt his side deserved even more than their point which leaves them in fourth place, four points clear of Everton.\u201cWe dominated the whole game, played well and deserved to win to be fair,\u201d he said.\u201cWe had 60 per cent possession, 15 shots against four and should have won. Champions like United have to go through moments like this but I think we deserved that last-minute goal.\u201cWe set our targets high, we wanted to win.\u201dVillas-Boas said he is prepared to gamble and not bring in a striker in January, despite losing Emmanuel Adebayor to the African Nations Cup and Jermain Defoe being the only recognised striker at the club.\u201cWe have an extremely good squad and although there is risk of possible injury we were successful when Ade was sidelined,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The Gunners crashed to defeat at Chelsea yesterday as they were unable to recover from a first half that saw Chelsea strike twice through Juan Mata and Frank Lampard\u2019s penalty.Theo Walcott got a goal back, but Arsenal have now won only one of their last five league and cup games, and lie seven points off the top four.Wenger said: \u201cWe have lost two big games in the last week, and that is very damaging for us. We cannot afford to drop points any more if we want to be in the top four.That is a concern.
