BBC 1 Soap opera EastEnders star Gillian Taylforth reveals her fantastic bikini body aged 57.<\/h1>\n

She was 30 when she started playing Kathy Beale but 57-year-old Gillian Taylforth looks as good in a bikini as she did back then.<\/p>\n

And the former EastEnders star has revealed her slimline figure is down to a strict regime that means she never has a day off from some form of exercise.<\/p>\n

Gillian reveals: \u201cIn the past couple of years, I\u2019ve started doing Zumba three or four times a week, which really keeps me in shape.<\/p>\n

“I have a set of three hand weights from Argos, so I try to do a few reps of those every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gillian adds she is \u201cshocked\u201d that people find her sexy. \u201cI\u2019m actually not good at accepting compliments,\u201d she admits.<\/p>\n

Not to be outdone by Paula Hamilton who stripped entirely naked in a magazine last week, Gillian Taylforth has decided to flaunt her flesh in a photoshoot too.<\/p>\n

Posing in selection of bikinis the 59-year-old has stripped for Closer magazine this week, who she\u2019s told:<\/p>\n

‘It really shocks me that people think I\u2019m sexy! I\u2019ve never seen myself like that.<\/p>\n

\u2018But I\u2019m doing this shoot so I can look back when I\u2019m old and grey and remind myself that I was quite all right once.’<\/p>\n

And she\u2019s certainly proved that much \u2013 we\u2019d be happy if we had her body shape now, never mind at 59.<\/p>\n

Speaking of which, the former EastEnders star has revealed that the secret to her slender body is Zumba, plus a couple of weights from Argos.<\/p>\n

‘In the past couple of years, I\u2019ve started doing Zumba three or four times a week, which really keeps me in shape\u2019 she revealed.<\/p>\n

‘I have a set of three hand weights from Argos, so I try to do a few reps of those every day.<\/p>\n

She also adds that healthy eating is the key to staying slim, but at the moment she isn\u2019t considering more drastic measures to stay looking good. She added:<\/p>\n

‘At the moment, I wouldn\u2019t have surgery. I’m really lucky that my face has held up as long as it has, but never say never.<\/p>\n
