Chelsea are through to the semi-final of the FA Cup after securing a 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

Demba Ba scored the only goal of the game with 49 minutes gone after an exquisite finish following a Juan Mata assist.

Javier Hernandez had the best chance to equalise for the away side, but saw his header spectacularly saved by Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Substitute Robin van Persie spurned a glorious chance to draw United level in the closing stages but his effort from six yards went high and wide.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The Blues will now face Manchester City at Wembley for a place in this season’s final.<\/span><\/p>\n

The match opened up as United searched for a leveller but Chelsea held on to move a step closer to a fifth FA Cup final in the last seven seasons.
\nThe Blues battled back from a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 in the original tie at Old Trafford on 10 March. Rafael Benitez’s team will face City at Wembley on Sunday 14 April.<\/p>\n
