The elusive Afghan Taliban chief Mullah Omar has warned the commanders of his outfit of elimination if they were found involved in kidnapping and abductions.<\/h1>\n

Islamabad, April 3\/Nationalturk- In the first statement of its kind, the elusive Afghan Taliban chief Mullah Omar has warned the militant commanders of elimination if they were found involved in kidnapping and abductions for ransom.<\/p>\n

According to Pakistan newspaper, The Nation, Mullah Omar told his commanders through an audio message that was sent to all of his associates and area commanders, \u201cWe need to understand that all those involved in kidnapping were bringing bad name to the entire Taliban movement and we need to identify all of them\u201d.<\/p>\n

He has advised his commanders and others including Hafiz Gul Bahadur, Hakimullah Mehsud and all others who are working with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) \u2013 deadly militant outfit in Pakistan — to follow his instructions strictly or get ready to face the music. \u00a0TTP headed by Hakimullah Mehsud controls pockets of tribal areas along the Pak-Afghan border and carries out near daily bombings in Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Some commanders involved in kidnapping: Omar<\/h2>\n

\u201cAll Taliban commanders and men were supposed to fight the \u2018evil forces\u2019 to ensure supremacy of Allah, the Holy Quran and Sunnah. They should concentrate on their job,\u201d Omar said adding he was receiving credible reports about some commanders, who were allegedly involved in kidnapping for ransom.<\/p>\n

He claimed that he had got reports that there were some groups, who \u00a0were involved in the business of \u2018hire to kill\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to identify all those in our ranks. They need to be eliminated,\u201d he said in the message.<\/p>\n

It was the first time that Taliban chief has admitted that some of his commanders and men were involved in kidnapping for ransom.<\/p>\n

There were allegations that some Taliban commanders were minting money through kidnapping, arson and car stealing.<\/p>\n
