After winning the elections, PML-N chief and Prime minister designate Nawaz Sharif has said he was not averse to holding talks with TTP.

However, some sections of civil society and people have criticized holding of parleys with TTP, saying that talks cannot be held with ‘killers’.

Write your comments and thoughts below

Faiz Ahmad / NationalTurk Pakistan News

A petition has been filed in Pakistan Supreme Court to prevent the civilian government and military from holding negotiations with dreaded militant group Tehkreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

[30,80,63,1,118,85,101,14
40420,52472,52474,52473,52481,52476,52484,52477,10035,44685,50262,52483,636,649,45882,52480,52479,52482,52475,4586,43131,42251,52478
post-38238","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-asia","category-breaking-news","category-daily","category-general","category-hot","category-media-news","category-politics","category-world","tag-civil-society","tag-civilian-government","tag-constitution-of-pakistan","tag-forbidden","tag-isi-chief","tag-joint-chiefs-of-staff-committee","tag-killers","tag-lt-gen-zaheerul-islam","tag-military","tag-nawaz-sharif","tag-negotiations","tag-not-averse","tag-pakistan","tag-pakistan-taliban","tag-pml-n-chief","tag-politico-religious-person","tag-pre-empt-contact","tag-prime-minister-designate","tag-shahid-orakzai","tag-supreme-court","tag-tehreek-e-taliban-pakistan","tag-ttp","tag-w-aging-war
["GET
