Formed by the academicians of Istanbul Bilgi University, Esra Ercan Bilgi\u00e7 and Zehra Kafkasli and shared via Internet, the survey was filled by 3 thousand of activits within 20 hours.<\/h1>\n

The results have given clear clues about the identity of this group and their requests. According to the study published in Habervesaire.com, people going out are not a member of political party or supporter as PM Tayyip Erdogan once said.39.6% of activists are between the age of 19-25; 24% are between 26-30 and 75.8% of them participated into this case by going out.<\/p>\n

HALF OF THEM HAVE NEVER BEEN IN PROTEST BEFORE<\/strong><\/h2>\n

53.7% of them have never been in protest before and 70% of this group does not feel close to any political party. 14.7% of them are indecisive and only 15.3% of them feel close to a political party.<\/p>\n

THE REASON OF THIS PROTEST IS THE AUTHORITARIAN BEHAVIOR<\/strong><\/p>\n

The reasons of the support to the protests were questioned. They might choose either option among \u00a0\u201cAgree strongly\u201d, \u201cAgree,\u201d Neutral\u201d, \u201cI don\u2019t agree\u201d for any reason.<\/p>\n

According to that, the people believing that the reason of this protest firstly existed due to the behavior of the Prime Minister are majorities with 92.4%. The people agree strongly that the police use disproportionate force against activits are 91.3%. The people agree strongly that the reasons are about violation of democratical rights are 91.1%. The people agree strongly that the reason is about speechlessness of media are 84.2%. The people who participate into these protests because of the tendencies of their political party is only 7.7%.<\/p>\n

WE ARE LIBERTARIANS<\/strong>
\nIn the survey, the quality that defines them was asked to the participants. According to that, the acticits mostly believe that being libertarian is appropriate for them.<\/p>\n

– The people saying that he\/she is \u201clibertarian\u201d is 81.2%.<\/p>\n

– The answer of being \u201csecular\u201d follows it with 64.5%.<\/p>\n

– The people who disagree with being \u201capoliticals\u201d are 54.5%.<\/p>\n

RESPECT TO FREEDOM<\/strong><\/p>\n

The question that what they would like to have in the end of the case was asked. They might choose either option among \u00a0\u201cAgree strongly\u201d, \u201cAgree,\u201d Neutral\u201d, \u201cI don\u2019t agree\u201d for any reason. The answers that they choosed as \u201cagree strongly\u201d are mentioned below:<\/p>\n

– Stop this police violence: 96.7%.<\/p>\n

– Respect to our freedom after this case: 96.1%.<\/p>\n

– Establishment of a new political part:37%.<\/p>\n

WE ARE AGAINST COUP<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the results, the rate of people who would like to experience \u201cmilitary intervention\u201d is low. The people who agree strongly in this idea is 6.6%, who agree is 2.3%. The people against coup are the overwhelming majority with 79.5%.<\/p>\n
