File Pic<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h1>A fighter jet of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed during training mission in country\u2019s Punjab province on Thursday.<\/h1>\n<p>Islamabad, July 11\/Nationalturk &#8211;\u00a0 A fighter jet of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) crashed during routine operational training mission in country\u2019s Punjab province on Thursday. However, the pilot ejected safely.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn F-7P fighter jet was on a routine operational training mission when it crashed near Isakhel in Mianwali district in Punjab province this morning,\u201d Pakistan Air force spokesman said.<\/p>\n<p>He said the pilot of the jet identified as Flying Officer Taha ejected safely. \u201cHe landed safely with some minor injuries. He has been hospitalized\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Immediately after the crash, Pakistan security forces arrived reached the crash site and cordoned off the area.<\/p>\n<h2>Inquiry launched to investigate cause of accident<\/h2>\n<p>Officials said cause for the crash was not known immediately. \u201cAn inquiry has been ordered by Air Force to investigate cause of accident\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan has a fleet of aircrafts, including F-7PGs and A-5s, US-built F-16s and French Mirages.
