Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given clean to dreaded militant outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) for recent suicide bombing in a church in Peshawar in which over 80 people were killed.<\/h1>\n

Islamabad, Oct 1\/Nationalturk – In what could be termed as soft corner for terror groups, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given clean chit to dreaded militant outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) for recent twin suicide bombings in church in Peshawar, in which over 80 people were killed and blamed external forces for terrorism in the country.<\/p>\n

“When Taliban disown the attacks, the mind is naturally compelled to think that there are external forces at work to destabilize Pakistan. We need to find out who these hidden hands are and who is behind them,” Nawaz Sharif told reporters in London.<\/p>\n

TTP has denied its involvement in recent twin suicide bombings in a church in Peshawar in restive Khyber Pakthunkhwa province in which over 80 people were killed. However, one of the group affiliated with the TTP had claimed the responsibility for the attacks and termed it avenge for civilian killings in US drone strikes.<\/p>\n

Another 40 people were killed in bombing in Qissa Khawani Bazaar in Peshawar on September 29.<\/p>\n

Security agencies say TTP involved in bombings<\/h2>\n

Although TTP has not owned responsibility of both the bombings, Pakistan\u2019s security agencies believe that the terror attacks were carried out by the TTP as the bombings have their signature.<\/p>\n

However, Pakistan\u2019s PM Nawaz Sharif and other politicians including cricketer-turned politician Imran Khan and leaders of religious parties have been reluctant condemn the Taliban for church and other bombings.<\/p>\n

\u201cTaliban had disowned the bomb blasts in a church in Peshawar and then we have to identify those elements who were behind such attacks.\u00a0\u00a0The need to expose those who were involved in terrorism and extremism,\u201d Pakistan PM told reporters in London.<\/p>\n

He said external forces are involved in the terrorism campaign inside Pakistan and far from being a sponsor, Pakistan was actually a victim of foreign-funded well-organised wave of terrorism.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had raised issue of Balochistan turmoil during my meeting with Indian PM Manmohan Singh,\u201d Nawaz said adding terrorism was being promoted in Pakistan from abroad.<\/p>\n

Pakistan has been claiming that Indian security agencies were behind the insurgency in Balochistan and fomenting trouble there.<\/p>\n
