Robles was hailed by the crowed when he passed the finish line in first spot, where he picked a hamstring injury last year.<\/p>\n
After the race Robles said “I felt good, everything went fine and I’m ready for Doha even if I don’t want to talk about this right now,”<\/p>\n
Robbles who also has the 110-meter hurdles record under his belt beat Borisov by 0.08 seconds, while Igor Permota of Russia finished third in 7.67 seconds.<\/p>\n
The win came as a massive moral boost for Robbles before this weekends World Indoor Athletics Championship in Doha.<\/p>\n
Cuban athletics star Robles, born on November 16, 1986 in Guantanamo, Cuba is one Cuba’s and Latin America’s greatest hopes in Doha this weekend.<\/p>\n
