Playing golf in exotic surroundings – that seems just right for the British to be Dougie Thompson. But the fun of the sport was embittered: A crocodile tried to drag him into a lagoon. Luckily his buddies were there.<\/h1>\n

For a wedding reception, the Briton Dougie Thomson had come to Mexico. With a few friends he wanted to play a round of golf at the “Iberostar Cancun Golf Club”. But the game of lawn chess came to a wrestling match.<\/p>\n

“I hit the green. Then I heard this noise behind me and this huge crocodile snapped at my hip ,” said the 58- year-old. The approximately four meters long animal bit the man in the right side of the body and tried to drag him to a nearby lagoon .
\nBut the bold use three of his friends saved the father of two apparently life. With their golf clubs they worked the crocodile – a long drove the Cart over the animal until it finally took flight .<\/p>\n

“I could feel no pain. I was totally in shock ,” Thompson told the British “Mirror” . The attack was a complete surprise for him gekkommen : “I did not know at times that water was behind the bushes. ” But his friends were apparently still shaken than he ” Finally, they had to watch the whole thing with you.”<\/p>\n

The wound had to be closed with staples 200 . Thompson now wants to return home as soon as possible in order to recover in peace.<\/p>\n

The Briton was not the first golfer who was attacked in the ” Iberostar Cancun Golf Club” by a crocodile . Just two months ago from the New York native Edward Lunger in a similar incident had lost two fingers .<\/p>\n

The owner of ” Iberostar Cancun Golf Club” have any responsibility. Lunger , however, claimed the manager had known that a crocodile located on the property, but only to set up a police tape around his lair . The Americans claimed to have paid $ 17,000 for his hand surgery. He has sued the company for pain and suffering in New York to 2.25 million.<\/p>\n
