File Pic<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h1>Police in Pakistan foiled a suicide bombing on Shia worship in Karachi\u00a0 by killing a woman suicide bomber and injuring her accomplice.<\/h1>\n<p>Karachi, Dec 18\/Nationalturk \u2013 Police in Pakistan port city of Karachi foiled a suicide bombing on Shia worship place by a woman suicide bomber by shooting her dead and injuring her accomplice.<\/p>\n<p>Police officials said security guards deployed outside a Shia Muslim worship place (Imambara) near Khalid bin Waleed Road in Karachi in Sindh province foiled suicide bombing by two women bombers.<\/p>\n<h2>\u20182 explosive laden women tried to force entry\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cTwo explosive-laden burqa-clad women tried to enter the Shia worship place this afternoon. However, the alert security guard grew suspicious when the two women tried to force their entry into the Imambara without undergoing security check. He fired on the two women. In the shoot-out, one of the woman was killed and another critically injured,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n<p>They said immediately after the incident, police officials and bomb disposal squad experts reached the spot and cordoned off the area.<\/p>\n<p>Officials said both the women were equipped with explosives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe husband of the deceased woman has been taken into custody.
